Product description
- The universal metal dowel "UMD" is suitable for easy and quick processing in perforated brick, pumice and gas concrete. Simply hammer it in and the "UMD" fits. From aerated concrete class 6 and for other harder materials. Materials such as perforated bricks, we recommend pre-drilling as indicated in the table. The anchor has an inner thread guide for a secure hold of the screw thread. The outer corrugation ensures high pull-out values. The anchor fulfils the technical regulation for gas pipes according to TRGI 3.3.7.1 in connection with an 8 mm hanger bolt. (If in case of fire the mechanical strength of the pipe connection with plastic dowels cannot be guaranteed, metal dowels must be used).
