Hexagonal wood screws

Hexagonal wood screws

Wood screws according to DIN 571 are also called spanner screws or Vienna screws.

These screws with the hexagonal head are specifically used for very strong connections. The partial thread allows a very high pressure to be built up between the materials to be joined. They are screwed in with a spanner or a socket spanner, which allow the screw to be tightened easily and firmly.
