The Fischer insulation plug FID is a plug used to secure lightweight attachments to plastered and unplastered insulation panels made of polystyrene and polyurethane. The Fischer FID is set by hand or with a cordless screwdriver. The special threaded spiral securely cuts into the insulation panel. Attachments such as mailboxes, lamps, or motion sensors can be installed.
